It can be used for a long time between -40 degrees and 100 degrees. Moreover, it is resistant to repeated impacts with little change in strength. The strength is rarely affected by temperature and temperature changes. POM is the most fatigue-resistant type among thermoplastic materials, with low creep. 2 Thermal performance: It has a heat distortion temperature, 136°C for homopolymerization and 110°C for copolymerization. According to the American UL standard, the long-term heat-resistant temperature of POM is 85~105℃. 3 Chemical resistance: It has no room temperature solvent. Among all engineering plastics, POM has outstanding resistance to organic solvents and oils. Especially under high temperature conditions, it has quite good corrosion resistance. And the size and mechanical strength change little. POM has good compatibility with a variety of pigment oils and is easy to color. However, because some colors are acidic, all POM pigments need to be carefully selected. The production of its color masterbatch is far more demanding than ordinary resin. POM cannot be colored with dyes due to its crystallinity. 4 Electrical performance: The dielectric constant is not affected by temperature and humidity. Differences in trace impurities caused by different manufacturing processes have an order of magnitude impact on volume resistance. |
