1. Excellent mechanical properties, high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance and dimensional stability, and small creep. These properties rarely change under high temperature conditions. 2. The energy consumed to produce PBT is the lowest among engineering plastics. 3. Excellent heat aging resistance, the enhanced UL temperature index reaches 120~140oC. In addition, the outdoor long-term aging resistance is also very good. 4. Good solvent resistance and no stress cracking. 5. PBT is easy to decompose when exposed to water, so be careful when using it in high temperature and high humidity environments. 6. It is easy to be flame-retardant and can reach UL94V0 level. Because of its good affinity with flame retardants, it is easy to develop reactive or additive flame-retardant grades. Flame retardant products are widely used in the electrical and electronic industries. 7. Excellent electrical properties, high volume resistivity and dielectric strength, excellent arc resistance, extremely low moisture absorption, and stable electrical properties in humid and high temperature environments. It is an ideal material for manufacturing electronic and electrical parts; 8. Easy to process and secondary process, easy to use common equipment for injection or extrusion. Due to the fast crystallization speed and good fluidity, the mold temperature is also lower than other engineering plastics. When processing thin-walled production, it only takes a few seconds for large parts and only 40-60S. |
